Red Envelope The Year of Pig
Graphic Design, Illustration, Product Design
We made these red packs for celebrating the Chinese New Year. Chinese elders often use them as a monetary gift which is given during holidays or special occasions such as weddings, graduation or the birth of a baby. Usually, elders give red envelopes to the younger generation, which means good fortune to them. Here, our idea is to use a "Happy" sticker instead of money inside the envelope to sharing our good wishes and happy mood to everyone.
On the pack, there is a type of traditional Chinese idiomatic expression, most of which consist of four characters. We pick one of those characters that pronounced the same as "pig" in Mandarin.
